When a woman rises in faith, nothing can stop her.

Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala hosted the “Unbreakable Women” congress—a series of gatherings that brought together around one thousand women to worship, learn, and renew their calling. It was a time of fellowship, worship, training, and renewed commitment to God and to each woman’s personal mission.

Key Messages

Rev. Nancy de Cordero affirmed that women are unique and should be ministered to intentionally, highlighting their decisive role in transforming the family, the church, and society. Alongside her, pastors Wendy de Urizar, Iliana Marroquín, and Yanitza Gutiérrez shared messages addressing different realities women face—married life, singleness, and emotional health—offering practical tools and hope for a healthy heart.

Highlights
Honduras was the starting point. On August 1, in Tegucigalpa (Iglesia Las Colinas), coordination was led by Xiomara de Bardales and the district team.
On August 2, San Pedro Sula held the congress at the Pedro Menzel Evangelical School Auditorium, organized by Reina de Bardales and a dedicated district team.
On August 6, El Salvador gathered at the Peraza Event Center, coordinated by Esterh de Campos, Dinora de Quintanilla, and Loly de Valencia.
Guatemala concluded the series on August 22–23 at the ACCC Convention Center, organized by Nancy de Cordero, Wendy de Urizar, and Iliana Marroquín.

Fruit and Next Steps

Under the overall leadership of Rev. Nancy de Cordero, head of the Women’s Ministry for the North-Central Area, the goal was to strengthen pastors’ wives and women leaders and expand the ministry’s reach in every district. Beyond the spiritual impact, the congress advanced the development of the Women’s Ministry at the district level—encouraging its implementation where it does not yet exist and motivating districts where it is active to strengthen it. The vision is to continue alternating district and national congresses to equip and empower women to fulfill their God-given purpose.

Voices of Hope

We must first be broken in order to begin the process that will make us unbreakable… I am a diamond in the hands of the Lord,” shares Martha Canno (San Pedro Sula, Honduras).

Testimony of Restoration. Yolany Cecilia Pérez—a pastor’s daughter—shares that through Wendy de Urizar’s message on the seed that bears fruit and Hannah’s story, the Holy Spirit revealed burdens of pain and resentment she was carrying. When she responded to the altar call, she chose to forgive even without receiving an apology, and since then she has experienced peace, renewal, and reconciliation in her congregation, serving together with her husband in the worship ministry.

“At the altar I prayed, ‘Father, I surrender my burdens; cleanse my heart and help me forgive.’ From that moment the weight lifted, and I began greeting and praying for those who had hurt me.”

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7, NIV)
