5 WAYS TO PRAY FOR CLARITY AS YOU CONSIDER MISSIONARY SERVICE

God, help me to seek you first and see the world through the lens of Your love.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”    MATTHEW 6:33

God, help me to seek Your desire for my life and orient myself around faithful love rather than fear.

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”   MICAH 6:8

God, reveal to me anything in my heart that is causing me to hold back from Your call.

“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”  PSALM 139:23-24

God, give me wisdom to make choices that are pleasing to You.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.”  JAMES 3:17

God, transform me to live in the power of Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of my life.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”                ROMANS 12:2

Cross Cultural Orientation

A Cross Cultural Orientation is a 3 day event that is filled with dynamics, conversations and workshops all about CROSS CULTURAL ministry.  Come and experience culture shock, listen to missionary testimonies, form opinions on cross cultural communication, educate yourself on a Nazarene missionary profile and MORE!

We recommend a CCO for anybody in the Church of the Nazarene that is interested in learning more about HOW we send and support missionaries as well as people that are EXPLORING what a missionary call is.  Maybe you KNOW you have a missionary call and want to know how to GO – the CCO is for you!

It was an experience where I rediscovered my call and got excited about it again, just like the first time I heard it. I found out that “The sky is the limit,” and now I believe in my abilities and gifts. The event challenged me to not stay still; it was the impulse that I was lacking to move forward and not give up when obstacles come my way.

“[Jesus] showed me that I must work for Him and look at the cross; not in the style and differences of other people.”
