We have concluded the third stage of Mission Without Limits in our Mesoamerica Region! Mission Without Limits is a missionary project that seeks to mobilize the Church of the Nazarene to carry out the Great Commission in the midst of a pandemic. This opportunity was made available so that many youth and adults with a desire to participate in missions could connect with the global mission of the Church, even while being deployed locally in their communities. All necessary biosecurity measures and precautions were observed.

While a large number of volunteer missionaries had been sent in December 2020 and January 2021 within seven different countries, the necessary restrictions due to COVID-19 did not allow two nations to carry out their projects as they had hoped and planned. However, instead of throwing in the towel or getting discouraged, leaders in Panama and the Dominican Republic decided to continue with their plans, moving their dates for Mission Without Limits to Holy Week: March 29 to April 4, 2021.

And that perseverance brought significant results! 42 volunteer missionaries, not counting other members from the local churches, served in 10 different sites. Many people who did not know the gospel opened their hearts, and those who had fallen away decided to reconcile with God. Still others received food and clothing. And many children gladly received the Word of God, which we trust is a seed that will bear much fruit in them. In all, 349 families were benefited, 2,925 people were evangelized, and 51 people came to know the Lord. Glory to God!

In the coming days, we will be sharing more testimonies and photos so that you can enjoy what the Lord has done. God doesn’t stop, his mission doesn’t stop, and his Church doesn’t stop. His Church remains, his Church is renewed, and his Church is led by his Holy Spirit. As Lamentations 3:22-23 says: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness!”
