The two Costa Rica districts of the Church of the Nazarene, North and Central, have joined the 14 major denominations in the country in a prayer and revival movement for Costa Rica. This is a program that promotes prayer, fasting, fellowship, evangelism and discipleship.

The crusades began on April 21st and end on May 31st, 2015. It will invite the Church to:

  • Pray for 40 days, at homes and in all church services.
  • Fast for 40 days, it is recommended to do it in the morning.
  • Intercede 40 days for: family, friends, co-worker or classmates, neighbors.
  • Give recommendation on Sundays about the church’s responsibility, purpose, and assignment to proclaim the gospel. It will be done on April 26th, May 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th.
  • Train church members to evangelize, since Saturday May 30th (world evangelization day), we will go out to park and houses to evangelize joining nearly 200 other countries.
  • The event will end on May 31th with the Friendship Day celebration. There will be evangelistic services celebrated in all churches in Costa Rica on that Sunday and all the people that have been prayed for will be invited to church.

Friendship Day is an initiative proper to the Church of the Nazarene in Costa Rica.
