More than 100 people were reached with the message of the Gospel and tangible expressions of Christian love.

The Church of the Nazarene “Roca de Salvación” carried out a day of service and evangelism in their community—with eternal results.

Durango, Mexico | April 26, 2025 — A team of 50 volunteers from the Church of the Nazarene “Roca de Salvación” in Durango, Mexico, participated in a Maximum Mission led by the local NMI president, María Gabriela Jaramillo Martínez, with the support of district evangelism director Fernando Jiménez, his council, and the church’s local evangelism director, Maribel Roldán.

The team carried out door-to-door evangelism, provided free haircuts and sewing services. There was also a time of prayer for the sick and for those in need, followed by a special time of worship and the preaching of God’s Word by Pastor Lupita Marroquí. Over 100 people attended and listened attentively.

Clothing, shoes, snacks, water, and candy were distributed to everyone who came. These small acts of love opened doors for deeper spiritual connections and conversations.

Fifteen people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and were registered to receive follow-up and intentional discipleship from the church.

“Many people expressed deep gratitude for the blessings received, both material and spiritual,” said María Gabriela Jaramillo. “All glory and honor to our God, who gives both the will and the strength to act,” she added.
