From July 19th to 29th 2014, a group of people of the First Latin American Church Owings Mills, Maryland, USA and a group of young and adult people of Honduras Northwest District, conducted a Maximum Mission in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The activities were conducted in places where missionaries of the regional project GENESIS will be serving, as a preparation for its arrival

They made child evangelism, medical conferences, work and witness and door-to-door evangelism house. There was a party in heaven because 52 people invited Jesus to reign in their hearts. In addition were developed workshops on Sex, Lies and Truth with adolescents in community schools. People have shown sympathy with the church because of the great need. Several people said they are willing to lend their property to the Church of the Nazarene so they may have a place to meet and begin planting missions.

“One of the most impacting testimonies was of a teenager who recently suffered an accident due to gangs issues, he was in a coma and confined to his house, one of the evangelism group visited him, he was with a very sad face, they spoke to him of God’s love and the opportunity of eternal life without imperfections, the boy smiled and we believe that the gesture was that he believed that promise and he also accepted God’s forgiveness and received salvation, his face changed immediately!

We pray that the seeds that were planted can produce good fruit that remain. Intercede with us and ask God that he opens our eyes to see the need in the big cities of our country, pray for El Roble Church, the Mount Sinai Church, the Barandillas and Cabañas neighborhoods that will work sites for various volunteer missionaries.
