The Costa Rica Central District held their forty-sixth assembly on Feb. 5 at the City of Refuge Church of the Nazarene. Regional Director Dr. Carlos Saenz presided. It was a special time in which the pastors each shared a testimony. Every delegation prayed with their pastor, and then they all prayed for their district superintendent, Sirlene Bustos, and her family. She was reelected to serve for 4 more years.

The time ended with an ordination service. Pastors Harry Estrada and William Mayorga were consecrated as elders in the Church of the Nazarene.

The Costa Rica North District celebrated their assembly on Feb. 6 at Poas. Dr. Jorge Banos presided. The assembly highlighted significant advances in infrastructure, especially the construction of the district center, the construction of both a new church building and a childcare center. They also mentioned an average 12% growth in membership. The other major news was the way this small district was able to support the World Evangelism Fund. They gave a total of more than $12,500 in the last year.

Thanks be to God for this blessed time of assemblies in Costa Rica. Please keep this country and this district assembly time in the Mesoamerica Region in your prayers.
