As of January 1, 2018, a new couple joined the Church of the Nazarene missionary team in Mesoamerica. Esteban and Dhariana Murillo along with their son, Etienne, will reside in Panama beginning in April 2018. From November 24-26, 2017 the Nicaragua North District held a Cross Cultural Orientation, with 48 participants from 4 countries in Central America: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala.
