The Nazarene Bible Institute in Coban, Guatemala, hosted a Creative Evangelism Camp (CEC) led by Mesoamerica Nazarene Youth International (NYI) from April 15-18. The Mexico South District held a family congress Mar. 20-24 in Arriaga, Chiapas called Threats and Challenges for Today’s Families. Seventy pastoral couples and 50 lay couples attended. They held 10 workshops focused on various topics related to marriage and family. Some focused on threats to marriages and families, and some focused on strengthening both.
Ninety Panamanian youth and 23 people from the USA brought the gospel to 7 Panamanian communities through two Maximum Mission projects. The Panama Central District Nazarene Youth International, Global Mission and Evangelism teamed up to coordinate the two projects. Project Paul and the Wordless Book have become important tools in the evangelistic activities at the House of Mercy Church of the Nazarene in Tonala, Jalisco, Mexico. Hilda is a woman won to Christ through the efforts of Teresa de la Mora during a Project Paul outreach held in Hilda’s neighborhood of Rosario de Guadalajara.
