Eighty-five volunteer missionaries served through Project Paul in the Mexico Huasteca District April 8 – May 6. They saw 228 people confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The zones that participated were: Sierra de Hidalgo Zone: 42 volunteer missionaries, 119 new converts Xilitla Zone: 11 volunteer missionaries, 25 new converts West Zone: 14 volunteer
A group of ministers from the Mesoamerica Region Church of the Nazarene traveled to Cuba on May 23 to offer support to the families and churches suffering as a result of the terrible airplane accident on May 18 in which 10 pastoral couples from the denomination died. This week Nazarene Compassionate Ministries delivered food to 150 families from 13 Churches of the Nazarene in Masaya, Nicaragua. The leaders there are grateful for the prayers and support that they have received from their brothers and sisters from within the region and beyond it. The situation there continues to be difficult.
