On November 20th, 2014 the Mexico South District Assembly was held at the First Church of Tuxtla, Gutierrez. The District Superintendent, Rev. Good News Reported at the Mexico East District Assembly

At the 35th Mexico East District Assembly, held in Mérida, Yucatán on November 19th, 2014, Rev. Joaquín Ocaña, District Superintendent, shared in his report the good news of an 8% increase in membership, he also reported that the district has 27 organized churches and the World Evangelism Fund reached 3.3% out of 5.5%.

Help After Earthquake in South Mexico

The Mesoamerica Region of the Church of the Nazarene, through the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, gave support with construction materials to the churches of the South Border District in Chiapas, Mexico, that were damaged after the 6.9 earthquake that recently rocked the South Mexico border with Guatemala.The quake left serious damage to the sanctuaries, Sunday school
