First Creative Evangelism Camps Held in Mesoamerica

The first of a series of Creative Evangelism Camps (CEC) was in San Pedro Sula, Honduras from April 12-14. The event is an initiative of the Mesoamerica Region Nazarene Youth International, along with the Caribbean area, to serve the NYI leadership in the North Central Area. Thirty youth leaders from both districts in Honduras attended.

Threats and Challenges For Today’s Families Congress

The Mexico South District held a family congress Mar. 20-24 in Arriaga, Chiapas called Threats and Challenges for Today’s Families. Seventy pastoral couples and 50 lay couples attended. They held 10 workshops focused on various topics related to marriage and family. Some focused on threats to marriages and families, and some focused on strengthening both.

The Gospel of the Lord Shared By More Than 100 Youth in Panama

Ninety Panamanian youth and 23 people from the USA brought the gospel to 7 Panamanian communities through two Maximum Mission projects. The Panama Central District Nazarene Youth International, Global Mission and Evangelism teamed up to coordinate the two projects. They held the first Feb. 23-26 in the communities of Pacora, Nueva Esperanza, and two islands

The Gospel Comes to a Rehab Center in Tonala, Mexico

Project Paul and the Wordless Book have become important tools in the evangelistic activities at the House of Mercy Church of the Nazarene in Tonala, Jalisco, Mexico. Hilda is a woman won to Christ through the efforts of Teresa de la Mora during a Project Paul outreach held in Hilda’s neighborhood of Rosario de Guadalajara.
