The Guyana Central District held its first Marriage Enrichment Seminar in Georgetown, Guyana, for pastors on Oct. 18-21. Some 27 couples participated in the event led by Miguel and Irene Garita as a part of the Mesoamerica Region Family Care Ministry. Heavy rains caused rivers to overflow and floods in Trinidad and Tobago last week. Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (MNC) president in the Trinidad District confirmed that many church members and neighbors suffered damage. Churches also suffered structural damage, including the Church of the Nazarene in Piarco, which was left in a devastated condition needing major repairs.
