District Training in Suicide Prevention and Crisis Management

Eighty leaders and pastors from the Puerto Rico West District attended two conferences focused on crisis management and suicide prevention on April 27.  Both events took place in the El Cotto First Church of the Nazarene in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. District Nazarene Compassionate Ministries sponsored the event, and Dr. Monserrate Allende Santos led the training.

Regional Evangelism Team Meets in Havana

The regional evangelism team and the Jesus Film team met in Havana, Cuba, April 24-30, to plan their strategy for growth in the coming years. Mexico Oaxaca District Ministers to 4 Communities With Medical Services and Children´s Ministry

Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) in the Mexico Oaxaca District gathered 20 volunteers to run a medical outreach April 22-26 in the sierra of Ixtepec, Oaxaca. The team included health professionals, volunteers for children’s ministry, and District Superintendent Rev. Nicolás Ríos Guzmán. A Guyana Children’s Camp Helps Kids Say, “I Know Who I Am”

“I know who I am” was the theme for this year’s Guyana: Demerara / Essequibo District held Children’s Camp held April 24-27 at Camp Wesleyan.  Ninety-five campers and workers attended from across the district.
