Dr. Thomas Noble facilitated a two-part webinar series on A Wesleyan Understanding of the Authority of Scripture.<\/p>\n
The first webinar began with a historical perspective. Dr. Thomas Noble considered the role given to Scripture in the New Testament church, in the patristic era, at the Reformation, during the Enlightenment, and in the nineteenth century.<\/p>\n
The second webinar discussed the Reformation\/Evangelical view today, including the questions raised by historians, scientists, and others. The Wesleyan position in all this is explored more specifically, including what has been called \u201cthe Wesleyan Quadrilateral.\u201d<\/p>\n
