From August 20\u201322, 2026, nearly 400 people representing 14 of the 15 districts in the Mexico Field gathered at Templo Cristiano de Tuxtla (TCT) in Tuxtla Guti\u00e9rrez, Chiapas, for the National Theology Conference and the graduation service of Iglesia del Nazareno en M\u00e9xico Seminario (IDNMS).<\/p>\n

Under the theme \u201cThe Holy Spirit: The Past, Present, and Mission of the Church of the Nazarene in Mexico,\u201d<\/strong> the conference provided a space to reflect on the work of the Holy Spirit in the development of the Church and the need to depend on Him in carrying out the work of the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Speakers included David Busic, general superintendent in jurisdiction; Jimmy De Gouveia, Mesoamerica regional director; Klaus Arnold, director of Global Education and Clergy Development; as well as Eduardo Duque, Jorge C\u00f3rdova, Ely Camas, Mauricio Constantino, and Jorge Ba\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Throughout the different sessions, speakers emphasized that personal transformation is the work of God through the Holy Spirit and that the life and mission of the Church must be carried out in dependence on His guidance. In response to these teachings, participants were challenged to seek the work of the Holy Spirit in their own lives and to share what they had learned with their congregations.<\/p>\n

The conference also included times of worship, devotionals, and special services.
