Evangelism comes to life when the church is equipped and sent to serve its community.<\/em><\/p>\n

More than 250 leaders, pastors, and laypeople participated in EXPONAZ \u201cDimensional Evangelism,\u201d a gathering designed to equip, inspire, and unite the church in strengthening evangelism and discipleship throughout Mexico.<\/p>\n

From April 30 to May 2, 2026, Bible Church of Guadalajara: Federalismo<\/em> hosted leaders, pastors, and laypeople from various districts across the country for the second edition of EXPONAZ \u201cDimensional Evangelism,\u201d organized by the Mexico Field Evangelism ministry of the Church of the Nazarene. The event was coordinated by the Mexico Field Evangelism team together with Samuel Malpica, who helped organize and facilitate the gathering.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the event was to train, inspire, and equip the church in evangelism, discipleship, and holistic mission, providing practical ministry tools and resources to strengthen local congregations. The event also sought to unite the Church of the Nazarene in Mexico around a shared evangelistic and missional vision.<\/p>\n

Throughout the three-day event, approximately 30 ministries and partner organizations participated through exhibition spaces where they shared materials, strategies, and ministry resources. Participating Nazarene ministries included Mission Mobilization, Nazarene Missions Teams, Nazarene Youth International (NYI), Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM), and SENAMEX, along with partner organizations such as Samaritan\u2019s Purse, One Hope, DCPI, GO Movement, and others.<\/p>\n

In addition to ministry exhibits, attendees participated in preaching sessions, conferences, and teaching focused on evangelism, discipleship, and mission. These plenary sessions and times of inspiration encouraged participants to return to their communities with a renewed vision for fulfilling the Great Commission.<\/p>\n

The event featured global and regional leaders such as Dr. Samuel Barber, Global SDMI director, and Rev. Jimmy De Gouveia as well as leaders from the Mexico Area and North Area, including Rev. Carlos Cordero, Dr. Jorge C\u00f3rdova, and Dr. Carlos S\u00e1enz. Dr. Jorge C\u00f3rdova provided strategic support and guidance for the development of EXPONAZ 2026. District superintendents and ministry representatives from across the country were also in attendance.<\/p>\n

One of the most significant moments of the event was the message shared by Regional Director Jimmy De Gouveia, who presented a situational analysis of the Church of the Nazarene in Mexico and challenged attendees to walk in the vision God is developing for the region. During his presentation he stated:<\/p>\n

\u201cI see a living Church, driven by a multigenerational movement of Christlike disciples who multiply and plant churches with evangelistic passion and compassion in every community.\u201d<\/p>\n

More than 250 leaders, pastors, and laypeople participated in the event, receiving training, ministry resources, and opportunities for collaboration among ministries and Christian organizations.<\/p>\n

Among the attendees was Isaac Esteban Romero Meza from Ciudad Hidalgo, Chiapas, who shared how EXPONAZ impacted his life and ministry:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt helped me find a clearer direction and see evangelism from another perspective.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also shared:<\/p>\n

\u201cSeeing so many people passionate about evangelism, people who, like me, feel this calling, made me feel accompanied.\u201d<\/p>\n

Isaac described EXPONAZ as \u201ca confirmation and consolidation\u201d of his ministry calling.<\/p>\n

Also present was Gilberto Garc\u00eda Vergara, head of religious affairs for the General Secretariat of Government of the State of Jalisco, demonstrating governmental support for the event and a willingness to collaborate with local churches.<\/p>\n

Organizers indicated that they hope to bring the EXPONAZ model to districts throughout Mexico, with the goal of reaching not only pastors and leaders but as many church members as possible, strengthening evangelistic commitment across the country.<\/p>\n
