{"id":80846,"date":"2024-05-31T13:44:49","date_gmt":"2024-05-31T19:44:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mesonaz.org\/?p=80846"},"modified":"2024-05-31T13:44:49","modified_gmt":"2024-05-31T19:44:49","slug":"exponaz-2024-equips-300-people-on-evangelism-in-mexico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mesonaz.org\/en\/exponaz-2024-equips-300-people-on-evangelism-in-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"EXPONAZ 2024 equips 300 people on evangelism in Mexico"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EXPONAZ 2024 brought together roughly 300 people in Guadalajara, Mexico, to motivate and equip them in evangelism.<\/p>\n<p>The event was held by the Mexico Field\u2019s evangelism ministry, responding to the mission of the Church of the Nazarene to make Christlike disciples in the nations. During the event, an exhibit of various evangelistic resources, preaching, and workshops was led by experienced leaders.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;EXPONAZ 24 was a time that God planned to remind us of the desire of his heart to go for those people who need it,\u201d said Jos\u00edas P\u00e9rez, an attendee. \u201cThe workshops confronted us and equipped us with resources to do better ministry for all generations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Participants could visit 29 booths with resources from partners who work with the Church of the Nazarene and other organizations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The main focus of EXPONAZ is to ensure that each district and local church receives the resources that best adapt to the needs of the people they are evangelizing,\u201d said Vanessa Maldonado, evangelism coordinator for the Mexico Field. \u201cWe understand that each place is different and needs different strategies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ten lecturers who specialize in evangelism participated in the event. Four preachers shared God\u2019s Word through plenary sessions: Milton Gay, regional evangelism coordinator; Carlos de la Cruz, FSC of the Central Field; Carlos S\u00e1enz, Mesoamerica regional director; and Carlos Cordeiro, FSC for the North Central Field.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We came away totally challenged to continue extending the kingdom of God on earth,\u201d Maldonado said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;God surprised us since we were equipped with strategies and materials, but above all, we were ministered through praise and preaching,\u201d said attendee Julissa Contreras. \u201cWe promised that when we return to our planting points, we will have a new season\u2026&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Vanessa Maldonado said EXPONAZ 2024 was an experience that exceeded the organizing team&#8217;s expectations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had never organized an event with this format before,\u201d Maldonado said. \u201cBut it took place as God had already planned\u2026 We are looking forward to EXPONAZ 25 because we know this does not end here. This is just the beginning of something bigger that God is preparing, and that we have the enormous blessing of being part of it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"69d063ac14d12\" class=\"gg_gallery_wrap
