The northern district of Nicaragua carried out the first phase of the \u201cTransformational Leadership\u201d training, which is the first session of the regional project \u201cImpact Mentoring\u201d. More than 130 people including pastors and local leaders received the training.<\/p>\n
On February 6, a team of five facilitators, who were previously trained by the Emeritus General Superintendent, Dr. Jerry Porter in the first session of the project, mobilized through the five areas that make up the district in order to share their knowledge with local pastors and leaders.<\/p>\n
In addition to the training, they had a devotional time for worship and gratitude to the Lord, as well as the partaking of the Lord’s Supper.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are very motivated with this project,\u201d said the District Superintendent, Reverend Denis Espinoza. \u201cWe believe that God is giving us the opportunity to be mentored and also to mentor others. Our District already has the other trainings scheduled for the entire year \u201d.<\/p>\n
In addition, one of the participants, Santos Casco, Lay Pastor in the Nueva Jerusalem<\/em> mission in Madriz said: \u201cI was very happy because I was able to share an experience with other Pastors.\u00a0 I learned about the ministry; especially in relation to the characteristic of a Servant Leader. This study was very useful for me.
