Today, many people are anxious, worried, and concerned about the future. It seems as if the coronavirus has changed everything. We wonder when or if things will ever get back to normal. In Exodus 3:7, we are reminded that God reveals Himself to us in the time of our greatest need.<\/p>\n

We see that the Hebrews had suffered in slavery for 400 years. They were under the strong hand of a king who did not know about Joseph. Their God seemed far away in another country. God speaks to Moses:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe LORD said, \u2018I have indeed seen <\/b>the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard <\/b>them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned <\/b>about their suffering.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

God says, I have seen; <\/b>I have heard;<\/b> I am concerned<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Then in verse 8, God says:<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I have come down to rescue<\/b> them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey …\u201d<\/p>\n

Dear friends, whatever situation you are facing today, remember that in your time of greatest need, God sees you. God hears your prayers. God is concerned about you. God reveals Himself, and He moves into action on your behalf!<\/p>\n

Can you image the joy and excitement that flooded Moses\u2019 mind when he heard these words, \u201cThe Living God was going to personally take a hand and deliver the Hebrew people!\u201d <\/b>Then the Lord made a statement in verse 10 that must have confused Moses.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wait a minute Lord, I thought you said YOU were going to come down and YOU were going to deliver them? God promises His companionship.<\/p>\n

God had a job for Moses, but in verse 11 Moses cried out, \u201cWho am I?\u201d In verse 12, God replies, \u201cI will be with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Not only is God with us, but God also reveals His absolute sufficiency. To Moses\u2019 question in verse 13, God gives a remarkable answer in verse 14:<\/p>\n

“God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: \u201cI AM has sent me to you.”‘”<\/p>\n

What did God mean when He revealed Himself as \u201cI am?\u201d He is saying, \u201cWhatever you need, that\u2019s what I am! Whatever you need, that is what I will become for you!\u201d And my friends, God is still the great I AM! He will be whatever you need Him to be.<\/p>\n

You need peace? <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cPeace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid\u201d (John 14:27).<\/p>\n

\u201cDo not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus\u201d (Phil. 4:6-7).<\/p>\n

You need courage <\/b>today?<\/p>\n

\u201cSo we say with confidence, \u2018The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?\u2019\u201d (Hebrews 13:6).<\/p>\n

You need guidance?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIf any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him\u201d (James 1:5).<\/p>\n

You need rest?<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cCome to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest\u201d (Matthew 11:28-30).<\/p>\n

Friends, God is sufficient to meet any need in your life, your family, your ministry, your church, your city, your nation! He is still the great I AM! When you are tempted to get discouraged, just remember \u2014 God sees you where you are, He hears your prayers, He is concerned about you, and He moves into action on our behalf \u2014 for He is still the great I AM!<\/p>\n
