The four district superintendents of Nicaraguan districts — Mar\u00eda Antonia Ponce (Central), Gerardo Reyes (South), Carlos Pe\u00f1a (South East), and Denis Espinoza (North) \u2013 met March 26-27 in San Jorge, Rivas, Nicaragua, to continue working towards opening a campus in Nicaragua for the Nazarene Theological Seminary.<\/p>\n

Dr. Roberto Hodgson, who is consulting on the project, also attended the meeting in which they covered a variety of topics, beginning by evaluating the progress that has been made up to this point.\u00a0 They also reviewed and approved a budget, identified infrastructure projects, named a chaplain and academic coordinator, set a calendar, created a course list and identified a teaching team.<\/p>\n

Twelve students from across the four districts of the country will begin classes in January 2020.<\/p>\n

District Superintendent Denis Espinoza asks the church to pray for this important project for Nicaragua.<\/p>\n
