Rev. Dr. Derick Stephen Forrester was installed as the pastor of the Bethany Church of the Nazarene on Sunday, April 7, by the Rev. Dr. Victor E George, Trinidad and Tobago District Superintendent.<\/p>\n

The congregation included members of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), pastors, leaders of village councils and community groups, members of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), members from various denominations and churches as well as friends of Rev. Forrester and his family.<\/p>\n

Rev. George preached a message from Psalm 23 exhorting the new pastor to tend the flock of Christ well.<\/p>\n

Rev. Forrester closed by thanking everyone for attending.<\/p>\n

Ruth Lawrence, a Trinidad and Tobago District leader, noted, \u201cthe service quite interestingly ended exactly like the way it began in that the presence and the influence of the Good Shepherd\u00a0was felt both during the invocation and the benediction.\u201d<\/p>\n
