The Nicaragua Central District held a retreat for pastors\u2019 children with the theme \u201cChosen By God\u201d at the Skylark Retreat Center, Nov. 3-4.\u00a0\u00a0 A total of 70 people attended, including children, youth and single adults between the ages of 5 and 35 years old.<\/p>\n
District Superintendent Rev. Maria Antonia Ponce organized the event. Rev. Paulino Munoz served as the invited speaker, and Aydalina Maraga, a pastor\u2019s daughter herself, served as the teacher. Juan Jose Picado, who is also a son of pastors, was in charge of games.<\/p>\n
DS Ponce had a ministry time with the participants. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 received special attention from Medary Jaime. There were also two consecration times, and at least 18 youth renewed their commitments to God and their parents.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a blessed time, and the youth expressed their gratefulness to God, the church and the donors,\u201d Rev. Ponce said.<\/p>\n
