This morning, June 11, a Nazarene medical team from Mexico began the drive to Guatemala to serve those affected by the eruption of the Volcano of Fire. The all-volunteer team includes doctors, nurses, a psychologist and other volunteers under the direction of Carlos Betanzos.<\/p>\n

Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Mexico Coordinator Edi Montejo said, \u201cI invite you to be in prayer that they would have a good trip and that God would protect them and use them as instruments of his glory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brother Rene Rivas is responsible for receiving the group when they arrive in Guatemala, and he reported that the group would likely arrive approximately 8 p.m. local time.<\/p>\n
