{"id":39240,"date":"2017-05-18T11:52:24","date_gmt":"2017-05-18T17:52:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mesonaz.org\/?p=39240\/"},"modified":"2017-05-18T12:15:34","modified_gmt":"2017-05-18T18:15:34","slug":"districts-prepare-for-the-power-of-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mesonaz.org\/en\/districts-prepare-for-the-power-of-one\/","title":{"rendered":"Districts Prepare For \u201cThe Power of One\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From May 11-13, 2017, the Christian Convention Center of NTS (<span id=\"result_box\" class=\"short_text\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\">Nazarene Theological Seminary)<\/span><\/span> in Guatemala hosted a training event for the district superintendents from the North Central Area of the Mesoamerica Region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The purpose of the meeting was to equip and challenge the group of leaders to involve 1200 pastors in the Power of One strategy. The Power of One is a ministry philosophy for the wholistic growth of the church. It promotes accomplishing the vision and mission inside as well as outside the Christian circle. It teaches that in order to accomplish the goal, each one has the responsibility to grow in his or her own faith, grow in the knowledge of the Bible, grow in influence in his or her social circle and share the love of God.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The training was held as preparation for The Power of One leadership summit which will be held August 14-17, 2017.
