{"id":37874,"date":"2017-03-14T12:10:18","date_gmt":"2017-03-14T18:10:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mesonaz.org\/?p=37874\/"},"modified":"2017-09-20T23:59:20","modified_gmt":"2017-09-21T05:59:20","slug":"cross-cultural-orientation-camp-in-the-dominican-republic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mesonaz.org\/en\/cross-cultural-orientation-camp-in-the-dominican-republic\/","title":{"rendered":"Cross-Cultural Orientation Camp In The Dominican Republic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From February 24<sup>th<\/sup> to the 27<sup>th<\/sup>, 2017, the Dominican Republic Central District held a Cross-Cultural Orientation Camp (CCO), at the Restoration House Church of the Nazarene in Bonao. A group of 22 people attended, with representatives from all districts of the country, in addition there was also a person that represented the Panama Central District and 4 people from Port of Prince, Haiti. The group learned about the church, missions, God&#8217;s call to service, how to support leaders and encourage others to work for the Lord.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The leadership team was comprised of the following:, Scott and Emily Armstrong, from the Mesoamerica Regional Genesis Project; Freya Galindo, also from Genesis; Elba Isabel and Alexandra Gautreaux. In addition they had the participation of sister Ana Mar\u00eda Crocker, NMI Regional Coordinator, which was a great blessing for the group.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the end of the event there was much joy, as the participants received the good news that the Church of the Nazarene made official its presence in three more countries; one of them, Curacao, in our Mesoamerica
