The Dominican Bible Society (SBD) is the special guest institution at the event.<\/p>\n<p>Lic. Carmen Checo de Acosta, a member of San Geronimo Church of the Nazarene and member of the District Advisory Board, who is also the DAB General Secretary, gave a speech in which she expressed gratitude for the blessing that the country has two laws that promote the Bible; one that declares September 27 as National Day of the Bible, the other states that in schools of primary and secondary level, after the flag-raising ceremony and the National Anthem, a portion or biblical text is read. She gave thanks for the beautiful gesture of honoring the Word of God and take it as a source of value \u200b\u200bfor the instruction of all Dominicans.<\/p>\n<p>Source: Lic.
