On August 30th<\/sup>, 2015, the Progreso Church, located in the Panama Central District celebrated the election of “Queen Esther\u201d. This activity was born out of the desire to promote in a creative way, family contribution to the WEF, the World Evangelism Fund. For a month, 5 girls participated in different activities in which offerings were collected.<\/p>\n

The activity began with a time of prayer for the “links” or assigned missionaries, they praised the Lord together followed by the message of the Word of God by the Regional Director, Dr. Carlos Saenz, who spoke about the attitude with which we give to the Lord’s work.<\/p>\n

NMI President, Sister Angelica Quejada thanked everyone who supported the activity, after that the election began run by Brothers Oscar and Joel. The girls testified about their experience in the collection month, emphasizing that all they did to help their neighbors. Queen Esther 2014 Maryorie Vergara said goodbye and went on to announce the finalists and the newly elected 2015 Queen Esther, Yanis.<\/p>\n

All these brave girls collected a fairly generous gift, which filled the congregation with happiness as the target for the WEF was very close to being achieved. To conclude the event, the church went out on a community parade honoring these brave girls.<\/p>\n
