{"id":24508,"date":"2015-04-06T12:23:28","date_gmt":"2015-04-06T18:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mesoamericaregion.org\/es\/?p=24508"},"modified":"2015-04-08T11:14:28","modified_gmt":"2015-04-08T17:14:28","slug":"dominica-district-assembly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mesonaz.org\/en\/dominica-district-assembly\/","title":{"rendered":"Dominica District Assembly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As we celebrated Dominica&#8217;s 3rd District Assembly this year, we were blessed to be a part of a truly historical event.<\/p>\n<p>On March 27th, at Bataca Church of the Nazarene in Dominica, Pastor Pascal Hilton of Bioche Church of the Nazarene and Pastor Claude Henderson of Pichelin Church of the Nazarene became the first two Ordained Elders for the Dominica District!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Though Church of the Nazarene has had a presence in Dominica for 35 years, they have never before had an ordained elder. General Superintendent Dr. Gustavo Crocker and Regional Director Dr. Carlos Saenz officiated this historic event.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to Missionary family Steven and Amanda Pettit along with District Superintendent Joscelyn Martin of Antigua for their help in making this ordination a reality for these two deserving men of God.
