{"id":23107,"date":"2015-03-12T11:52:37","date_gmt":"2015-03-12T17:52:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mesoamericaregion.org\/es\/?p=23107"},"modified":"2015-03-13T15:31:34","modified_gmt":"2015-03-13T21:31:34","slug":"ccok-trains-future-missionaries-in-mexico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mesonaz.org\/en\/ccok-trains-future-missionaries-in-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cCCOK\u201d Trains Future Missionaries in Mexico"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On February 27<sup>th<\/sup> and 28<sup>th<\/sup> 2015 a Cross Cultural Orientation for Kids (CCOK) was held in the 1st Church of Tampico. It included the coastal and sugarcane areas of Mexico Northeast District. Forty-five children attended the event with a willing heart to know more about missions and how to serve the Lord.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This \u201cCCOK\u201d was made possible by all kinds of efforts under the direction of Eunice Zaragoza, Regional missionary of the Genesis Project, and Ana Nava Maldonado and Emma Montelongo.<\/p>\n<p>Enrique Eliud shared the following testimony: &#8220;As I write this note I thought about the different events: the children\u2019s curiosity during the workshop, asking: What are missions? Their surprise to discover the future missionaries in the \u201cTime Tunnel\u201d; their honesty discussing problems in their communities (this would break anyone\u2019s heart) in &#8220;Discovering the real world&#8221; and writing in their final surveys what kind of missionaries they want to be or what they felt God was calling them to do. What happens in \u201cCCOK\u201d is indescribable, hard to put into words. I know the 24 contributors who made this possible can attest to that.<\/p>\n<p>I would like to invite the NMI presidents, at all levels and each Global Mission coordinator to seek the training and implementation of a CCOK. I assure you that every sleepless night, fatigue and resource invested, cannot compare to seeing the children preparing to become agents of change for Christ.<\/p>\n<p>My dear colleagues, our work can
