On Friday June 27th and Saturday June 28th,<\/sup> 43 Guatemalan youth leaders met to be trained in leadership matters such as leadership development and youth discipleship. The event was held in the NTS seminary in Guatemala.<\/p>\n

The following attended the event:\u00a0 CA-4 Field Strategy Coordinator, Rev. Ulises Solis; Regional NYI coordinator, Rev. Milton Gay and field leaders: Patricia Navas, Zelvin Chacon, who shared about Youth Bible Quiz and Odily Diaz, who led an evaluation and planning meeting with the NYI presidents and Global Mission coordinators.<\/p>\n

In 2014, “Flight plan” reached 253 youth leaders in the CA-4 Field. The training topics were taken from the book “Flight Plan” written by Rev. Milton Gay, officially launched<\/a> in September 2013 at the Regional Advisory Council (RAC) meeting.<\/p>\n

Rev. Milton shared the following about the book at that time:<\/p>\n

“Flight Plan” was born from God\u2019s yearning in my heart with the vision to guide, train and develop youth leaders … It has to do precisely with getting the youth ministry ready to fly; as a pilot youth leaders learn how to prepare their flight plan, to develop a team, to engage adults, to develop the capacities of members of the youth ministry and guide them to serve God with their gifts and talents.<\/p>\n
